Happy Börsday, Rollberg

Schnell noch etwas, das ich bei der Template-Pfriemelei beinahe vergessen hätte zu erwähnen: Der Rollberg wird heute zwei Jahre alt. Ich gratuliere mir und allen meinen Mitstreitern aufs allerschärfste.

Turn Your Radio On

Es ist geschafft. Das Template meines Radio 8 Weblogs steht. Dies ist der letzte Eintrag im Schockwellenreiter mit Radio 7.0.1, ab morgen wird umgestiegen...

Um W3C-konforme Seiten zu bekommen, mußte ich einige Klimmzüge unternehmen, damit Radio 8 korrektes HTML schreibt.

• In system.verbs.builtins.radio.weblog.drawCalendar mußte ich gainsboro durch #dcdcdc ersetzen, da der HTML-Validator gainsboro nicht als gültiges HTML erkannte.
• In system.verbs.builtins.radio.data.strings habe ich dem itemPermaLinkImg einen alt-Text gegsönnt, und
• auch dem dailyLinkIcon in weblog.data.prefs wurde ein alt-Tag verpaßt.
• Dem RSS-Icon fehlte ebenfalls der alt-Tag. Hier habe ich den Link einfach von Hand gebastelt, statt das <%rssLink%>-Makro zu benutzen.

Das steht hier auch zur Dokumentation für mich, falls ein Update von UserLand die Patches wieder überschreibt.

Das größte Problem machte aber JavaScript. Radio 8 sieht alle // im body eines Templates als URL an und macht daraus automatisch einen Link, also auch aus //-->. So stand dann immer sehr seltsames in meinen Seiten und ich war erst einmal ratlos. Mark Paschal brachte mich auf die Lösung, einfach den Doppelslash zu escapen (\//-->). Danke, Mark.

Also, ab morgen wird mit Radio 8 gebloggt.
