[Bayes and so forth]: Paul Grahams Artikel A Plan for Spam, in dem er einfache Bayes-Netzwerke für die Filterung von Spam vorschlägt, hat einige Aktivitäten ausgelöst. Für Nicht-Lisp-Programmierer gibt es erste Ergebnisse in der Python CVS nondist/sandbox. Mehr grundsätzliche Überlegungen dazu gibt es von Tim Peters. Er gibt zu bedenken, daß:
