Weblog-Hoster: Yahoo! 360° jetzt auch auf Deutsch

Yahoo! 360° - Blog-Netzwerk mit erweiterten Fähigkeiten: Mit einem neuen Dienst betritt Yahoo! den deutschen Markt und bietet über Yahoo! 360° ein Blog-Netzwerk an, das mit Kontaktmöglichkeiten zu anderen Nutzern versehen ist. Außerdem lassen sich darüber Bilder und andere Daten einbinden oder man kann Podcasts zusammenstellen. Damit bündelt Yahoo! 360° verschiedene Yahoo!-Dienste unter einer einheitlichen Oberfläche. AJAX ist (k)ein Scheuerpulver

Yahoo! veröffentlicht AJAX-Bibliothek als Open Source: Yahoo! hat seine JavaScript-Bilbiothek für webbasierte Benutzer-Schnittstellen als Open Source veröffentlicht. Mit den Komponenten »Yahoo User Interface Library« sollen sich Web-Applikationen im Desktop-Stil samt ereignisgesteuerter Interaktion entwickeln lassen. [Golem.de]

Yahoo! und AJAX sind daher auch der heutige »Google des Tages«.

Skype-API

SkypeWeb ist jetzt offiziell verfübgar: Die eBay-Tochter Skype ( ) hat ihre Programmierschnittstelle SkypeWeb (zur Zeit noch Windows only) jetzt offiziell freigegeben. Damit läßt sich der Status von Skype-Nutzern auf Internet-Seiten anzeigen. [Computerwoche Online]

Neu bei O'Reilly: Das achte Kapitel aus dem Buch Websites für Musiker, DJs und Netlabels von Moritz »mo« Sauer ist online: News- und Musikabonnements mit RSS und Podcasts ( 821 KB). Sehr nette, aktuelle Einführung in RSS. Ein Ausdruck lohnt.

[Update]: mo hat mir geschrieben. Es gibt auch eine Website zum Buch. Dort findet man nicht nur das Inhaltsverzeichnis, sondern auch weiterführende Informationen. Also surft vorbei...

denn sonst müßte IBM ja Waschmaschinen herstellen: Initiative soll Ajax-Entwicklung fördern: Gemeinsam mit anderen Unternehmen hat IBM das Open-Ajax-Projekt angekündigt, um ein einheitliches Framework für die Entwicklung von Ajax-Applikationen anzubieten. Dieses soll in Eclipse integriert werden. Ganz allgemein soll aber auch Ajax ( ) selbst vorangebracht und dessen Popularität gesteigert werden. [Golem.de]
