Erika Fuchs und Carl Barks

KerLone: GHack hat eine Seite über die Donald-Duck-Übersetzerin Dr. Erika Fuchs ausgegraben. Mit wirklich köstlichen Klassikern. Ich liebe diesen Humor, er hat mich wohl stark geprägt. Weiterhin gibt es ein Carl-Barks-Werkverzeichnis (der berühmte Disney-Zeichner). Dort auch zahlreiche weiterführende Links.
Ethnologisch wertvoll ist von Carl Barks ja übrigens die Geschichte über den Wettstreit von Dagobert und Pimpillionär Mac Moneysac, in dem beide ihren Geldhaufen vergleichen. Mc Moneysac heuert schließlich einen Jivaro-Medizinmann an, der mit einem Wässerchen den Geldberg Dagoberts schrumpfen soll. Diese Jivaro-Indianer gibt es tatsächlich uns sie sind bekannt für ihre Schrumpfköpfe. Blogging as literary experiment? Daragh Sankey's »Bloggus Caesari: A Weblog by Julius Caesar« is finally getting some interest, over a year after launching. And about time too: rather than being a parody blog, it's essentially a version of Caesar's Commentaries on the Gallic Wars done as an ongoing narrative, turning Caesar's third-person commentary on his own actions into a developing personal account. Gimmicky, yes. But it's rather heart-warming to see people playing with the medium. (And I can't think of a better teaching aid for Roman history.) Now, we've seen something similar with email from Carl Steadman's Two Solitudes, and we've seen weblog tricks from Lance Arthur, but it'd be good to know if anyone else is doing interesting things with the weblog form, not simply offering interesting content.
